Whilst in Korea, Emma and Daorum were invited to do an hour feature on Golden Mouth’s (Bae Chul-Soo’s) radio show. The show included interviews about the film Intangible Asset Number 82 and SImon’s journey through Korean music, as well as live performances from Daorum.

The show aired to an audience of 2 million listeners! The recording of the show also attracted some audience….

The recording draws a crowd

In August 2010 ‘Intangible Asset Number 82′, was released theatrically in 13 cities in Korea, under the Korean title ‘Thank You, Master Kim”.

After many ‘pre-screenings’ and various special premieres for press, VIPs and even a screening at City Hall by a congressman, the film opened at the huge Korean cinema chain CJV in Seoul. After Simon recovered from the 10 metre banner of him on the side of the building, we had a good evening, with warm crowd and interesting Q&A, and of course a celebratory cake afterwards.

Thanks to executive Vice President, Ms Park Jungae, who leads a successful commercial cinema and still believes in and programs cultural and diverse projects.

Thanks again and again to the beautiful team at IndiePlug who have worked so, so hard to spread the word in Korea. Especially Ko Young-Jae who has put so much faith and time and energy and resources behind his belief in the film, and Cho Soo-Bin who has coordinated an endless publicity schedule whilst making it comfortable and enjoyable.
